On 24 February 2024, the first workshop of the Social Parenthood project was held in the Conference Room of the Department of Law of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
The workshop was opened by Dr. M. Caldironi (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia) on “La PMA tra Corte e legislatore: competenze a confronto” (PMA between the Court and the legislator: comparing competences) and by Dr. S.P. Perrino (University of Milan-Bicocca) on “Social freezing: the management of reproductive contingencies”.
This was followed by a discussion by Prof. F. Pedrini (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia) and Prof. V. Piccinini (University of Milan-Bicocca) on the topic “Gpa: dignità della gestante, ordine pubblico e tutela dei nati. Dal progetto “Just Parent” al progetto “Social parenthood””.
The day ended with a roundtable discussion attended by scholars and experts in the field.
